Hello wonderful community,
Happy Sunday and the middle of August. I find myself writing to you on a Sunday again for the first time in a while. It feels good. Although things have most definitely not slowed down over here, I still had a little bit of time today to send out this letter to you.
So, let’s catch up…
New life is blooming and budding and taking form here on the farm! Summer is fast and full, almost so full you can’t contain it. I feel like time is slipping away from me now more than ever, but these memories we are making will last a lifetime.
We adopted two barn kittens named April and Autumn last week, along with a bunny named Reese. My inner child is ignited and so happy to spend time with these precious creatures. I didn’t realize how much I actually needed it.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved animals. Growing up, we had two horses, two barn cats, bunnies, and dogs. Living out in the country, raising animals and playing outside was bliss for me. Now I get to do it all over again.
Mateo is soaking it up, too. He especially loves the bunny and wants to hold it. He assists me with my daily chores and helps me to take care of all the precious life running around the farm.
We also have a lot of things to water and harvest these days. Wild blackberries, freshly picked apples, heirloom tomatoes, and an abundance of flowers. The sunflowers we planted in the spring are starting to show signs of blossoming; bright yellows, deep reds and vibrant oranges. The colors are so beautiful that they almost make your heart swell so big it nearly explodes.
As for my creative endeavors, my poetry book is in its final stages of editing. To celebrate that, I am releasing four of my most well loved poems in the form of poem prints.
My first ever release of poem prints! You heard it here first.

What is blooming in your life lately? I hope things are gentle for you.
Take good care,
Isabel
